Ring Care Guide
Keep Your Ring
Looking Its Best
Simple care tips to ensure your Majestic Forge ring stays as stunning as the day you first wore it.
Everyday Care
Four simple habits to protect your ring.
Rinse Regularly
Warm water and mild soap is all you need. Gently rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Remove When Needed
Take off your ring during heavy lifting, yard work, or when handling harsh chemicals.
Store Safely
Keep your ring in the included wood box when not wearing it. Avoid tossing it in a drawer with other jewelry.
Soft Cloth Only
Use a microfiber or soft cotton cloth to buff your ring. Avoid abrasive pads or paper towels.
Care by Material
Each material has unique characteristics. Here's how to care for yours.
Tungsten Carbide
Your ring's core material
Tungsten is one of the hardest materials on earth — it won't scratch from everyday wear. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners. Tungsten can crack under extreme impact (dropped onto concrete from height), so handle with normal care.
Whiskey Barrel Wood
Reclaimed oak inlay
Wood inlays are sealed and protected, but prolonged water exposure can affect the finish over time. Remove your ring before swimming, showering, or doing dishes. If the wood looks dry, a tiny drop of mineral oil on a cloth can restore its warmth. The natural grain will deepen with age — this is part of its character.
Meteorite
Muonionalusta meteorite inlay
Meteorite contains iron and can develop a natural patina over time. This is normal and adds to its unique character. To prevent oxidation, keep dry and avoid saltwater or chlorine. If patina appears, gently clean with a rust eraser or fine steel wool, then apply a light coat of oil. Our rings come sealed to slow this process.
Opal, Abalone & Gemstones
Natural stone and shell inlays
These natural materials are more delicate than tungsten. Avoid harsh chemicals, extreme heat, and prolonged UV exposure. Clean gently with a damp cloth — never submerge in cleaning solutions. The play of color in opal and abalone is natural and may shift slightly over time, which is part of their beauty.
Gold Plating & Gold Leaf
18K & 24K gold finishes
Gold plating can wear over time with friction. Remove during workouts, heavy manual work, and when applying lotions or hand sanitizer. Polish gently with a jewelry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. If the plating thins, contact us — our lifetime warranty covers replating.
